MEDICAL CERTIFICATE

As part of the March 2, 2022 “Sport” law aimed at democratizing the practice of sport in France, the Fédération Française d'Athlétisme has set up its Parcours Prévention Santé (PPS), a system that replaces the traditional medical certificate for all adults.

From now on, all participants over the age of 18 wishing to register for a running race organized in France must comply with the Parcours Prévention Santé. In concrete terms, this means that when registering for the chosen race, participants must log on to the dedicated web platform pps.athle.fr in the three months prior to the competition, and follow the various steps designed to raise awareness of the risks, precautions and recommendations associated with running, via educational content (text and video).

Participants FFA licensed for the 2024-2025 season, who have already had to follow the Parcours Prévention Santé as part of their license application, will be exempt from the PPS procedure before each race, as was already the case in the past with the medical certificate system.

HEALTH QUESTIONNAIRE & PARENTAL CONSENT

Since May 7, 2021, underage athletes do not require a medical certificate, provided they complete the health questionnaire below.

If you answered YES to one or more questions: Medical certificate less than 6 months old required. Consult a doctor and present the completed questionnaire.

To validate your registration as a minor, a completed and signed parental authorisation form is required.

OPTIONS

To be eligible for an elite race bib, you must have an ITRA score of over 700 if you are a man or over 575 if you are a woman. A check will be carried out later by our teams.

By subscribing to the option of sending the bib by post (available to the first 2,000 registrants who have subscribed to the option), you agree to provide valid PPS before February 1, 2025 11:59 p.m.

If your application is still not complete by this date, your bib will not be sent to you and will have to be collected from the Sport Planète village on 21 March 2025 (for all events) or 22 March 2025 (only for the Trail 35km GTNS Access, the Trail 18km and the Trail 10km). No refund of the option will be possible.

You must collect your bib from the Sport Planète village on Friday 21 March 2025 (for all events) or Saturday 22 March 2025 (only for the Trail 35km GTNS Access and the 18km and 10km Trails and Nordic Walks).

No bib withdrawals will be possible in the start area.

The purpose of the cancellation guarantee is to allow the reimbursement of the costs incurred (deduction of the amount of the cancellation guarantee and the options used) for registration for EcoTrail Paris.

This guarantee covers different scenarios related to the participant (more details in the rules of the event) as well as any cancellation due to force majeure. Will be considered as characterizing a case of force majeure, any defect (refusal, withdrawal) of administrative authorization necessary for the organization of the event, any fire, flood, earthquake, storm, and more generally any natural disaster, epidemic (eg: Covid-19), attack, war or any other event usually considered as a case of force majeure by case law.

If you wish to be reimbursed for the expenses incurred in one of the cases above, you must have this guarantee.

No refund, for any reason whatsoever, can be considered without subscription to this cancellation guarantee.
